ONE OF THE PIONEERS IN ORTHOPAEDICS, Dr. Mukesh Shah (who is the founder of Aalok Hospital) started this hospital "AALOK ORTHOCARE HOSPITAL ", in 1982. We have witnessed the era in orthopaedics where very low infrastructure was available. The fracture reduction was done by Fluroscopy, trained staff was not available, implants avaibility had severe scarcity and whatever available was minimally designed. The Technology of instrumentation was very preliminary. Not much information was available for any operative procedures. The cadaveric workshops and seminars were in 'Dreams'!!! And having this scenario too, since 36 YEARS, the AALOK ORTHOCARE HOSPITAL is a witness of many happy, satisfied and result gained patients who were and now in their routine life again and performing their daily activities as normally as those were before the surgery. We could complete the 36 years due to faith, blessings and best wishes of our these patients only...
But time asks for change, innovations and upgradations!! Following are some of the milestones we could set while our this journey of 36 years. We are the pioneers in IITV work for close nailing and key hole surgeries since 1991. The first IITV in ahmedabad was introduced in Aalok Orthocare Hospital by which we could give best results in fractures and other injuries patients with minimal opening of soft tissues (minimal blood loss and maintaining the biology which helps in better healing of bones and soft tissues.)
We are initiators in joint replacement 0f knee, hip, elbow etc.; spine surgeries and other super specialty orthopedic branch surgeries too.
We have strong and all basic infrastructures along with trained staff for EMERGENCY management in Golden Hours (24 hours after injury) e.g. road traffic accident, Fall at home etc.
Our Mission : " QUALITY CARE AT AFFORDABLE PRICE " Our Hospital does camps like BMD(Bone Mineral Density)test, Knee Joint Replacement camps in many places of Ahmedabad and Rajasthan(Government, Nongovernment and Corporate Sectors). We conduct Educational Programs on subjects like Osteoporosis, Arthritis, Emergency Management at the time of Injury, General Health Tips etc. We are also doing charitable work for low socio economic patients.
